4-Day Mountain Bike Tour in the most beautiful desert of Israel

 

Day 1 

Transit from Tel Aviv to Arad and riding Arad to Masada about 40 KM mostly single trail. We will pick you up in Masada and drive to Sde Boker where we will spend the night.

Elevation: 300M

Mostly Single trails

 

Day 2 

Sde Boker to Mitzpe Ramon via the white cliffs of Wadi Zin,  Ein Ovdat And the IDF Officer Academy

We will spend the night in Mitzpe Ramon.

Length: 52 KM

Elevation: 800 m

Single trails and 4X4

 

Day 3 

Mitzpe Ramon to Khan Beerot riding along the Makhtesh Ramon cliff overlooking the Makhtesh (Cater) and eventually riding down to the bottom of it. The trail is in part a section of the ancient Nabatean trade route, known as the 'Spice Route', that was recognized in 2005 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

About 37 KM a combination of single trails and 4x4. This is one of the nicest segments overlooking the unique phenomenta of Makhtesh Ramon. We plan on spending the night in the same place as last night, Mitzpe Ramon.

Day 4 

Beerot to Moa - starting off where we finished yesterday riding through Nekarut Stream To the Arava Moa on route 90. About 40 km is a combination of single trails and 4x4. 

Length: 35 Km

Elevation: 400 m

 

*** We may change this day with a newer segment from Masada to the Dead-Sea.

We will provide you with pick up from tel aviv and drop off back in tel aviv, accommodations, meals, guidance, support, logistics of personal belongings and technical assistance, coffee / snack/water breaks along the trails and cold beer at the end of each riding day. As well as picking up at the end of each riding day etc.

Meals include: breakfast before riding and preparation of lunch to be taken with you in your backpack, snacks and hot dinner meal every evening.

3,900 NIS for all of the above 

+600 NIS for rental Hard-tail mountain bikes if needed.
